These days, it seems that small intimate ceremonies are all the rage. About 3/5 weddings I perform are Elopement style weddings. What is an elopement? It is a Wedding of only 5 people which includes the bride, groom, 2 witnesses and the Wedding Officiant. But just because it’s a small group doesn’t necessarily change the fact that it’s still a special day and there are still traditions that couples follow for their special day. The brides still wear white, but the big princess dress is not the top choice. Here are some of the trends I’m seeing in 2023.
