How to Make Real Guacamole

Maybe you are having a Cinco de Mayo party or maybe you simply just want to enjoy the same restaurant quality taste of Guacamole in the privacy of your own home. Whatever the case may be, Guacamole is always a good choice for appetizers. Don’t know how to make Guacamole? No problema! I got you. I have also included my Amazon affililate links below to help you on your journey.

First you need 3 beautiful ripe avocados. The best way to tell when an avocado is ripe is if it feels soft but not mushy.

Slice your avocados in half, remove pit and spoon out the goodness in to a bowl.

You will need a potato masher or something similar to mash the avocados. Once they are all mashed you can add about a 1/4th a cup of milk. This will give it a smoother creamier texture.

PRO TIP: If you like your guacamole super runny and creamy for street tacos, try mixing in a blender and adding a tiny bit more milk. You don’t need anything fancy, any basic blender will work.

Next add a dash of salt, pepper, garlic and a squeeze of lime juice. If you are a fan of red onion I recommend chopping and adding a 1/4th a cup.
