Growing up in Phoenix, Arizona we had very mild winters. I never had an actual coat with down feathers, never needed snow boots, or a even a scarf. Now that I live in the beautiful state of the Bluegrass, that has completely changed for me. I will not go without a scarf, head protection or closed toe shoes in the winter months. This took a lot of time to learn and I made many mistakes in that time, but I’ve finally got it down and know how to dress in the freezing weather without looking too frumpy.
