It has been a whopping two years since I went into quarantine with my children. My husband and I decided back in December of 2019, once we started to hear about the virus, we would stock up and stay in. I will state that we did not stock up on toilet paper, paper towels or wipey’s enough. I was out of the loop on that one. But here I am, two years later and the pandemic blues are finally starting to set in. I am an introvert by nature, but I still like nature, so given the restrictions that have been placed on us due to the pandemic we now spend most of our days inside. I didn’t do it alone though. I enlisted the help of several electronics to help get me through this very difficult and trying time. Here is a list of my top buys from Amazon. My Amazon affiliate links are included below.
I don’t know how anyone can survive without coffee in the morning. I know I cannot. Here is the best gift I have received to help me make it through my mornings when I do not want to get out of bed. This is my motivation every morning and it has been for the past 2 years of the pandemic.
Do you ever get tired of hearing crying, nagging, fighting, screaming and yelling? I know I do. Tune all of that stressful noise out with wireless Bluetooth headphones. Believe me, this helps. Music is known to alter moods so make sure to turn up that happy music and start to feel better.
Another way to tune everything out at night when I go to sleep is white noise. This machine will help keep all the creaks and sounds that go bump in the night, out of your head, and help you get a good night’s rest. Fall asleep quickly and wake up feeling refreshed to get a better start to your day.
For the moments you cannot wear headphones because you have to keep an eye on the little ones, make sure to pick some good tunes and turn it up! This Echo Studio speaker hits hard and the bass goes boom. This will bring all the boys to the yard for sure. Just do me a favor and blast it as loud as you can, relieve the stress and dance it out.
How many TVs do you have in your house? How many kids are in your house? How many shows do you have to catch up on? Do this while you wash the dishes in the kitchen or cook dinner for the family. Trust me when I say this will make things fun and easier for you as a mom. Before you can even say Alexa, it will be time to put the little one’s to sleep.
Help keep track of your sleep and fitness with this ring. Make sure you are getting a good night’s rest while monitoring calories, heart rate and blood oxygen saturation. This is the only item on this list I have yet to purchase. I am hopeful it will help me and my mental health once I am able to track my sleep.
